Hi
folks - this web site will always be a work in progress, changing
and growing with the club. The current banner is temporary
until I can spend some more time fine-tuning it. I welcome your
input and your contributions - and this means telling me if I've
screwed up. One of my worries is having incorrect content
live a long and happy life on the site simply because nobody
points it out - so please do. Even if you see a typo - drop
me some email.
I
am actively searching for current content for the site! Information
is easiest for me to publish if I can cut-and-paste it into my
web publishing software. A .doc or .txt file, or even text in
the body of an email works well. I
can't add everything, but if it has mainstream interest, it might
fit on this site. Please avoid sending me large numbers
of huge picture files as an email attachment - it may get blocked
before I see it, or it may "bomb" my email account - sending
it into over-quota land. A couple photos should not be a problem
- or if you've reduced them to reasonable size first - that works
well. Email
me if you have questions.
I'm
a techie type, and some of my projects and related interests
are on my ham web site W4NEQ.com One
of my current projects is a "paraset"
WWII cw transceiver, used by resistance forces in occupied Europe.
When I finish it, I'll bring it in and do a "show and tell".
I've been a ham since I was a kid and have lived in Bowling Green
for almost 30 years, but other obligations have kept me
from spending the time with Ham radio I've
wanted. Hopefully I'll soon be making up for lost time.
73,
Chris
